After playing pro hockey since 2005, Boston Bruins wing Bobby Robins has finally reached his goal of playing in the NHL.

He was one of the last men to make the roster after spending the 2013-2014 season as a wing for the Providence Bruins. In Providence, he netted five goals and dished out nine assists in 68 games.

It is clear he did not make the team to score goals, but instead he is the heir to Shawn Thornton. Thornton did not re-sign with the Bruins this past offseason and is now a member of the Florida Panthers.

Last season alone, Robins got into 25 regular season fights and 39 the year before that between regular and post season play.

He also runs his own blog called bobbyrobins.com which is definitely worth checking out.

Here is a video of a fight he had this preseason.  Spoiler alert — he wins.
